OBITUARY Jane Jackson December 8, 1934 – August 9, 2018 June Jackson, 83, of Athens, Alabama died Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Limestone Health Facility. She was born December 8, 1934 in Wayne County, Georgia to R. Bennett Franklin and Edna Christine Smith Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James B. Jackson and sister Nell Caroline Franklin Delk. Survivors include her son, Steve (Laurie) Jackson, daughters Debbie (Jack) Thomas, Kathy (Keith) McBay, and Christa (Patrick) Baugher, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, sisters Lavada Aspinwall and Linda Deloach. Mrs. Jackson was an active member at St. Paul Catholic Church until she became ill. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Jackson’s service will be Saturday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 to time of service. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Matt Thomas, Alex Jackson, Sid Jackson, Luke Jackson, Casey McBay and Grant Baugher. Honorary pallbearers will be Alec Baugher and Sam Jackson.
