Obituary for James M. Tillman James M. Tillman, age 86 of Brentwood, TN passed away August 28, 2018. Born in Jackson, MS to the late Faison Darwin Tillman & Bonnie Belle Harding Tillman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and made his career at a certified public accountant. James is preceded in death by his wife, Marietta Herdman Tillman and son, James Anthony “Tony” Tillman. Survived by son, Bill (Bethany) Tillman; daughters, Teresa (David) Kosson and Christie Jones; brother, Bill (Brenda) Tillman; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Brentwood Baptist Church, 7777 Concord Rd. Brentwood, TN 37027. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Brentwood Baptist Church or Alive Hospice. Visitation will be 5-7PM Wednesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at Brentwood Baptist Church.
