OBITUARY James Robert Rhinehart January 23, 1950 – August 10, 2018 James Robert Rhinehart, 68, passed away at home in Semmes, AL on August 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Richard Rhinehart and Opal Borden Rhinehart; and one son, Darryl Rhinehart. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Rhinehart; one son, Kevin Rhinehart; two daughters, Christy Rhinehart and Ashley Renee (Matt) Shelton; three grandchildren, Zane Sheldon, Saber Caston, Shadow Caston; one great-grandchild, Draven Eubanks; three sisters, Pat Hill, Debbie Rhinehart, and Betty Sue (Paul) Peterson; as well as nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Mr. Rhinehart served his country for over 22 with the United States Coast Guard, and Vietnam War Veteran. He was also a truck driver for 18 years, a job he took pride in. He had an amazing capacity to love people, and he will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., with a chapel service immediately following.
