James “Jimmy” Ronald Maynard, Jr., 47, of Markham Road, Waverly, Ohio passed Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Adena Pike Medical Center, Waverly, Ohio. Jimmy was born March 12, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of James Ronald Maynard, Sr. and Patricia (Linley) Maynard of Waverly. On February 4, 1992, he was united in marriage to Maria (Harris) Maynard who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Amber Maynard and fiancé Jeremy Pryor of Beaver, Ohio, two sons, James Maynard III and wife Sara and Christian Maynard and wife Dusty, both of Waverly, three grandchildren, Christian, Juliana, and Emberly Maynard, two sisters, Lisa Weisenberger and husband Jason of Anchorage, Alaska, and Sheila Maynard of Waverly, a brother, Scott Maynard and wife Amanda of Waverly, mother-in-law, Regina Mitchell of Columbus, Ohio, brothers-in-law, Donald Harris and wife Roxie and Philip Harris, thirteen nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews with one on the way, and numerous special cousins. Jimmy was preceded in death by a great niece, Abreigh Jo Brown. Jimmy was a very talented carpenter starting at the age of 17. He dearly loved his large family and enjoyed joking and pulling pranks with them. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, Ohio, with Pastor Toby Williams, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road, Waverly, Ohio.
