Obituary of James “Jim” Doherty James (Jim) Doherty, a longtime resident of Yonkers, passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Peg Doherty, by his side. Jim was a dearly beloved husband & was deeply loved and will be missed by his loving brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Donations in Jim’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral Mass Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church , 602 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10705 with Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery , 114 Sprain Road, Yonkers, New York 10710. The family will be present on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc ., 732 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10704.
