James Edward Cole, 61, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at his home. He was born May 31, 1957 in New London, Ohio the son of Arthur Cole and Kathryn (Baker) Kimble. James was employed by Norfolk Southern as a welder on Rail 39; and member of the Eagles for 39 years. He married Carla (Fisher) Cole on July 20, 1991; She survives along with his two sons: Chad Burmeister of Inman, SC and Jacob (Madison) Cole of Bellevue; four daughters: Amie (Jerry) Shank of Inman, SC, Emily (Kyle) Grote of Chesnee, SC, Kate Cole of Bellevue, and PeDee Cole of Bellevue; 9 grandchildren: Matthew, Carlie, Kaleb, Nic, Quincy, Livi, Adrianna, Kouper, and Jayden; three brothers, John (Deborah) Cole of Sandusky, Rich (Darlene) Kimble of Sandusky, Randy Kimble of Sandusky; sister, Rhonda Kimble of Sandusky; 5 Nieces; 5 nephews; 6 great nieces; 7 great nephews; and “Special Girls”, Shelley Englehart, Jennifer Englehart, and Justine Buchanan. He is preceded in death by his family: Arthur Cole, Kathryn Kimble, Betty Kimble, Debbie Englehart-Cole, George Kimble, and Jamie Burmeister. “It’s gonna be okay.” –James’s favorite quote.
