Obituary of Hilda Terrible Hilda Terrible, age 96, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Care Alternatives in Bound Brook. She was born in Tamaqua, PA and lived in North Plainfield before moving to Warren. Mrs. Terrible was a waitress at the Coral Lounge in Plainfield. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, traveling, all animals especially dogs and cats and playing quarter slots. Surviving are her husband, Stephen J. Terrible; her children, Joan Kaplan and Paul Karwowski; her grandchildren, Stacie Marish, Stephen Kaplan, Peter Karwowski and Tony Karwowski and 12 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 19th from 3 to 7 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Entombment will be at Somerset Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to NJ State Elks, Special Children’s Committee, 665 Rahway Ave., PO Box 1596, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
