Obituary for Helen Frances Christensen Helen Frances Christensen, 85, of Charlotte, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Helen was born May 25, 1933 in Vernon, TX, the daughter of William Clay and Esta B. (Bradford) McLaughlin. Helen devoted her life to her family and to serving others. She was an avid reader, an Elvis fan, and a die-hard BINGO player with a frequent winning streak. Helen was a former member of the Vermontville Bible Church and the Red Hat Society of Kiwanis Manor. Many will miss Helen’s story-telling, and her feisty and resilient personality. Helen is survived by her two daughters; Joy (Joshua) Sattler and Kathy (Jeff) Burger; 7 grandchildren, Kyle, (Katy) Howard, Cody Howard, Caleb Sattler, Morgan Burger, Dylan Burger, Kayla Burger, and Jared Burger; 4 great-grandchildren, Macy Howard, Mara Howard, and Kyle Howard Jr., and Paisley Burger; and brother, John James.
