Obituary for Helen M. Clark Helen M. Clark, 96, passed away on July 7, 2016, at Crandall Medical Center. Born in Kensington to Harvey and Elizabeth (Little) Mills, she was a graduate of Augusta High School. She worked for Ohio Bell during WWII and retired as a classified employee for the Marlington School District. Helen was an avid sportsperson having participated in Ohio Senior Olympics earning many local and state level gold and silver medals in tennis and swimming. She was also active in the Alliance Park and Recreation tennis program. She and husband, Philip, whom she married in 1941, and who preceded her in death in 2007, volunteered for First Presbyterian Church and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Rebecca; her parents; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Evan) Case; her son, Dr. Bradley Clark; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to PDK Foundation, 8330 Ward Parkway, Suite 510, Kansas City, MO 64114 or Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary, 5623 New Milford Road, Ravenna, OH 44266. Arrangements are by the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home, 1131 West State Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
