Gregory “Cricket” Roland, age 63, of Palestine, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Palestine. He was born September 14, 1954 in Wathena, Kansas. Mr. Roland served in the U.S. Navy from 1972 to 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl “Buck” and E. Jean Roland; and a sister, Treva Bollman. He is survived by his siblings, William Roland of Dayton, Tammy Sutton of Wathena, KS, Rick Roland of Wathena, KS, Windi McIlevain of NC, Deana Roland of Wathena, KS and Jacky Roland of MO. He is also survived by a granddaughter, McKenzie Rae Shaefer and several nieces and nephews. A service is pending at this time.
