Gregory Allen Underwood, age 54, Vallonia, Indiana, passed away Thursday August 16, 2018 at Columbus Regional hospital. He was born on May 2, 1964 in Seymour, Indiana. Greg was the Pastor of Faith Southern Baptist in Vallonia. He was also employed with Lucas-Ackerman in Brownstown & Nelson Seal Coating in Salem. He was a former Co-Owner of Main Street Pizza in Salem. Survivors include his wife, Regina (Bowman) Underwood of Vallonia; son, Josh Underwood & his wife Mallery of Vallonia; mother, Cheryle (Temple) Underwood of Vallonia; 3 brothers, Mike Underwood of Vallonia, Scoey Underwood of Brownstown & Jeremy Underwood of Vallonia; and 2 grandchildren, Hadlee Underwood & Grissom Underwood. He was preceded in death by his father, George Underwood. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday August 21, at Faith Southern Baptist Church. Viewing will Monday from 4-8 PM at the the church, and Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Brother Jason Cooper will officiate.
