Gordon Franklin Leffler, 84, of Alma-Omega Road, Waverly went home to be with his Lord, 1:02 p.m. Wednesday, 29 August 2018 at his home. Gordon was born 26 October 1933 in Omega Ohio, the son of the late Willard C. Leffler and Beatrice (Maloy) Leffler. On 19 August 2002 Gordon was united in marriage to Goldie Evalena (Emrich) Leffler, who survives. Also surviving are a son, G. Brian Leffler and Patsy Knight of Waverly, two daughters, Debra Lyn Leffler of Waverly and Joyce McCann and husband Steve of Piketon, Ohio, four grandchildren, Brett Leffler and wife Emily, Brandon Leffler and Sarah Clark, Chris McCann and wife Alyssa and Craig McCann and wife Allison, six great grandchildren, two brothers, Billy Leffler and wife Judy and Marvin Leffler and Wife Gail both of Waverly, one sister, Barbara Kershner and husband Michael of Independence, Ohio, five stepsons and three stepdaughters. His parents, first wife, Lucy (Bandy) Leffler and two sisters, Wilma Patterson and Mary Ellen Anderson, preceded Gordon in death. Gordon was a member of the Omega Church of Christ in Christian Union, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Columbus Local #189 Plumber and Steamfitters Union. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Monday, 3 September2018 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Pastor Mark Clendaniel and Rev. Marvin Leffler, Officiating. Burial will Follow in Omega Cemetery, Waverly, with military graveside services by American Legion Merritt Post #142, Waverly.
