Gladys Mae Keene Crask, 94, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Alvin Crask, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Es, England to the late Frank and Violet Keene. Ms. Crask was a member at First Baptist Church where she attended the Homemakers Sunday School Class; and a retired cafeteria worker from Anderson County where she worked in both the middle school and high school. Gladys loved life, dancing, having visitors, and especially her grandchildren. Gladys is survived by one son, Raymond Frank Hoskins, Lawrenceburg; 2 sisters, 3 grandchildren, Windy Newton, Versailles, Melissa (Rodney) Satterley and Angel Kennedy, both of Frankfort; 9 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Katie, Taylor, Danielle, Jason, Jalen, Xavion, Austin, and Jaylon; and great-great granddaughter, Harper. Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Gash Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Casket bearers will be Jason Kennedy, Jalen Newton, Xavion Reed, Austin Satterley, Jaylon Reed, Charles Hahn, and Rodney Satterley. Honorary bearers will be Taylor Newton, Danielle Meader, and Homemaker’s Sunday School Class. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
