Gilbert E. Snider, 93, Indianapolis, passed away on August 21, 2018. Born October 26, 1924 to the late Alvin & Blanche Snider, he graduated from Manual High School, received his B.S from Indiana University and then graduated from the Indiana University Law School. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WW II. He served as an attorney for over 50 years, and was active in the Indiana State Bar Association. He was a beloved Grandfather of 14 and Great Grandfather of 17. He was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte and brother, Wayne. The cryptside celebration of life service will be at 12:45 PM on Saturday, August 25 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at the Veteran Mausoleum Building. Arrangements were entrusted to G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home. In honor of his love for the Hoosiers and the Colts, please feel free to dress casually and wear your spirit wear or bring any spirit items!
