Georgia Butler Moon 2018

Georgia Butler Moon, age 69, of Hot Springs, died Monday, August 27, 2018. She was born on May 9, 1949, in Marianna, the daughter of Sam Dunigan and Ann Hare Dunigan. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edgar Butler; her parents; three brothers, Leonard Dunigan, Hubert Dunigan and Adelee Dunigan; and two sisters, Willie Mae Dunavan and Odell Adams. Georgia was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. She is survived by one son, Kevin Butler of Hot Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Henry Apple of Centerton and Lisa and TJ Sparks of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Martha Dunigan of Lexa and Roger and Sherry Dunigan of Higdon; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle with Rev. Dennis Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time, at the church. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
