George Lapczynski November 14 1930 – August 2 2018

Obituary for George M. Lapczynski Piscataway, NJ – George Matthew Lapczynski, 87, entered into eternal rest on August 2, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born November 14, 1930, he was the son of the late George and Helen Lapczynski of Piscataway, NJ. He graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1948 and served five years in the US Navy serving aboard the USS Salem and the USS Portsmouth. George was employed by American Bakeries as a Regional Sales Manager and retired in 1986. He is predeceased by his wife Agnes (Betty) Lapczynski and his son Thomas as well as his brothers Michael and Joseph. He is survived by his daughters Kathleen and her husband Charles Santoro of Somerset; Sr. Patricia Lapczynski RSM of Wayne, PA; and Susan Lapczynski of Hoboken, NJ and her fiancé Eoin Dawson of Wyckoff, NJ; as well as his beloved granddaughter Katie Santoro of Somerset, NJ. Surviving siblings include Theresa Teresak and William, Anthony, Chet, Robert and Davina Lapczynski. George was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Piscataway, NJ. There will be a viewing at Middle Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middle, NJ 08846 between the hours of 4pm and 8pm on Monday, August 6, 2018 and 8:45 am until 9:15 am on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. A 10:00 am Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Church on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 followed by entombment at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions sent to the American Legion Post 306, 707 Legion Place, Middle, NJ 08846 or Sisters of Mercy, 301 Lake Street, Dallas, PA 18612 would be appreciated.
