Obituary for Mr. Frederic J. Masucci Sr. Frederic J. Masucci, 82, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on August 27, 2018. Frederic was born and then lived in Newark, New Jersey for the majority of his life. Frederic served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon retirement as a Fire Fighter from the City of Newark Fire Department, he and his late wife moved to Port St. Lucie. Frederic was preceded in death by his wife Rosanna, whom he was married to for 51 years at the time of her passing. He was the loving father of Frederic J. Masucci Jr., and Vivian Layfield and her husband Ray; devoted grandfather of Angel, Lauren, Bianca, Frederic III, Katie, Jamie, and Samuel; adored great grandfather of Antonio, Addie, Matthew, Nico, and Emma; and beloved brother of Thomas Masucci. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 pm, with a memorial service at 7 pm, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Yates Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie.
