Obituary for Elizabeth B. “Betty” Russell Elizabeth B “Betty” Russell, 77, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully in her home on July 30, 2018. She was the wife of the late John Russell, who passed away in 1987. Betty was born on September 9, 1940 in Ashland, PA. to the late William and Elizabeth B. (Meck) Schaeffer. She loved her Family, bingo and the casino, her pet bird Marvin, and the Good Lord. “Nan”, as her Grandkids called her was selfless, loving, hilarious, kind and most of all, one of a kind. You couldn’t make her angry, even if you tried. She didn’t have to say much to get her point across and truly had a way with words; Nan could tell you everything you needed to hear with one sentence. She was a ray of sunshine among the clouds. Her family believes she was the glue that kept everyone together. Betty is survived by her sons, Daniel and William Russell, Four Granddaughters, Amy Russell, Kim Russell, Kristi Rodriguez and her husband Abdiel, Kelly Travis and her husband Brett, Two Great Grandchildren, Blake Travis and Ava Rodriguez, One Brother, John, Two Sisters, Hayley and Cheryl and a Sister-In-Law, Betty Ann. She was preceded in death by six siblings. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11AM from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. There will be a visitation from 10AM-11AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer society, Rt. 422 and Sipe Ave., Hershey, PA. 17033.
