Eleanore Miller, 89 of Indian River passed away on August 21, 2018 at Bay Bluffs Medical Care Facility in Harbor Springs. Eleanore was born on February 14, 1929 in South Haven, MI, the daughter of Raymond Cook and Myrtle (Jackson) Cook. She grew up in Ann Arbor and attended school at Ann Arbor High School. On May 28, 1949 she married William Miller at the Unitarian Church in Ann Arbor. Eleanore enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, watching movies, and attending church at the Community Christ Church in Cheboygan. Eleanore is survived by her children Cindy Miller, Randy Miller, Steven (Catherine) Miller, grandchildren Sam Miller and Henry Miller, great nieces Annette Smitt, Marilyn Hession, and Pam Giles, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William, parents Raymond and Myrtle Cook, and siblings Keith Cook and Sylvia Giles. No services for Eleanore are scheduled at this time.
