Obituary for Edward Arnold “Arnie” Kalp Edward Arnold “Arnie” Kalp, 84, of Latrobe, passed away Weds. Aug. 8, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born May 16, 1934 in Jones Mills,a son of the late Harry Caton and Beulah Cramer Kalp. Prior to his retirement Arnie worked as a Truck Driver for the Pepsi Cola Company in Kecksburg. He attended the Kecksburg Church of God. Arnie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving children Sterling “Buck” Kalp and wife Jennifer of Mt. Pleasant, Brenda Nadine Miller and husband Allen of Mt. Pleasant, Sharon Kalp of Colorado, and Farley Kalp of Florida, his daughter-in-law Lana S. Kalp of Acme, his 7 grandchildren, his 7 great grandchildren, his brothers Tom Kalp of Stahlstown, Fred Kalp and wife Judy of Acme, Jim Kalp and wife Lois of Acme, and Wayne “Joe” Kalp and wife Cindy of Somerset, his sisters Beulah Louise Keslar and husband Lynn of Acme, Dianna Hoffer and husband William of Acme, and Judy DeFlippo and husband Donnie of Mt. Pleasant, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Arnie was predeceased by his son Nevin A. Kalp, and infant daughter Karen Sue Kalp, his sisters Shirley May, Margaret “Peg” Brown, and Julia Donovan, and his brothers Elton and Allen Kalp, and an infant brother Vernon Kalp. Family and friends will be received Sat from 5-8 PM and Sun. from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., at the corner of route 711 and 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft (724-455-2310) where a Funeral Service will be held Mon. at 11:00 AM,with Rev. Leroy C. Kesler officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Donegal Cemetery.
