Donna Medina, age 81, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Sunday, August 05, 2018 at her home. Donna was born on January 5, 1937 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Thelma (Stevens) Parcel. She was united in marriage to Francisco Medina on February 2, 1952 in Valparaiso, Indiana. To this union, four children were born, Donna, Lorraine, Franklin, and Jeffrey. Left to cherish Donna’s memory are her children, Donna (Roy) Bice, Lorraine Medina, Franklin Medina, and Jeffrey Medina; a sister, Dorothy Clinkenbeard; nine grandchildren; as well as several great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Medina; her parents, Albert and Thelma Parcel; and her siblings, Ray Stevens, Paul Poole, James Parcel, Walter Parcel, Lonnie Parcel, William “Billy” Parcel, and Thelma Irene Parcel. Cremation has been accorded. The family would like to invite the public to a Celebration of Life service to cherish and honor her memory, held at 1:00PM, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Sharon Chapel Cemetery, south east of Centerville.
