OBITUARY Donna Harriet Shaw August 27, 1942 – August 23, 2018 Donna H. Shaw August 27, 1942 – August 23, 2018 Donna H. Shaw, age 75, of Lincoln, passed away August 23, 2018. Donna was born in York, Nebraska on August 27, 1942, to Claude and Grace Lefler. After graduating from Farimont High School, Donna attended Lincoln Beauty Academy and received a diploma for cosmetology. Donna worked at a number of salons before opening and owning Touch of Magic Beauty Salon in Lincoln. Donna worked as a beautician for over 45 years. Donna was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Donna was active in many hobbies, including quilting, cards, Professional Employment Organization (PEO), baking, and gardening. Donna was preceded in death by her husband (Jerry N. Shaw), and parents. Survivors include daughter Sandy Cunning and husband David Cunning, and son Sam Shaw. Grandchildren Jerry R. Cunning, Parker Cunning, Aria Shaw, and Octav Shaw. Brother Glen Lefler and wife Ellen Lefler. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM. Services at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 510 South 33rd, Lincoln, NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the family for future designation.
