Obituary of Donald Cunningham Donald Robert Cunningham, age 88, on Saturday, August 11, 2018. He is the son of the late James Patrick and the late Margaret (Tierney) Cunningham. Beloved husband of the late Frances A. Cunningham. He served in the Army during the Korean war. Recipient of the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the U N Service Medal. Loving father of Jeanne (Robert) Quinn, James (Rayne) P. Cunningham, and the late Donald Cunningham and Daughter in Law Jodi Cunningham. Cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren: Thomas (Lisa), Bryan (Tine), and Peter (Shannon) Quinn; James, Maggie, Kevin (Rebecca), and Sean Cunningham, and one Great Grand Child: James Quinn. Visiting hours will be Thursday, August 16 from 2-4 & 7-9:30pm at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:45 am on Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore. Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery/Resurrection
