Obituary of Dolores Ottenberg Dolores R. Ottenberg, 89, of Latrobe, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born December 1, 1928 in Bradenville, a daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Cross) Ramsey. Prior to her retirement in 1990, Dolores was an office manager at the Eastern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center with 24 years of service. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Latrobe and was an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the American Red Cross. She was also an avid square dancer and a member of the Harrold’s Western Squares. Her favorite pastimes included, gardening, and fast walking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle H. Ottenberg, Sr. this past January, and two brothers, Harry and William Ramsey. She is survived by two sons, Merle H. Ottenberg, Jr. (Marian) of Knoxville, TN and Kevin R. Ottenberg, Sr. of Greensburg; six grandchildren. Mark Ottenberg (Jennifer), Matthew Ottenberg, Tanya Schwab (David), Kevin R. Ottenberg, Jr. (Robin), Albert J. Ottenberg (Gwen), and Amy Himic; eight great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday, August 9th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc., 1500 Ligonier Street, Latrobe. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 10th at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with her pastor, the Rev. Les Hutchins, Jr. officiating. Private interment will be in Unity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany United Methodist Church, 2415 Laveen St., Latrobe, PA 15650.
