Obituary for Dessie Ross Dessie Brazell Ross, age 95, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. She was born in Munday, Texas to Elisha J. and Flora (Fenter) Brazell on Tuesday, September 26, 1922. Dessie will be remembered for her caring, compassionate, and nurturing ways as she found so much joy in doing for others. She was a devout Christian who loved her church family. Dessie’s family meant the world to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Her family fondly remembers the fun Dessie had on trips to Branson and her wonderful sense of humor, always joking. She is preceded in death by both parents, husband J.C. Ross, son Ronnie Vaughn, and all siblings which includes 3 bothers and 2 sisters. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Glenda Long and husband Gary; son Keith Vaughn and wife Cindy; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends between 9:00 and 10:00 am Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Beltline Road Church of Christ, 1202 N, Beltline Rd. in Irving. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00am, following visitation, with an interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following.
