Dennis Allen “Brooks” Pitts, 67, of Sutton, WV passed away peacefully at home with his family and his beloved dogs by his side. He retired from Overnight Transportation, was the former owner of Sutton Lake Marina, loved boating, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Geraldine Pitts; wife, Charlotte Pitts and his brother Donald Pitts, Jr. Survivors include his son, Brooks “Bubby” Pitts of Sutton; daughter,… Read More » Tara Fields and husband Joshua of Sutton; brothers, Daniel “Burr” Pitts and wife Margaret and Johnny Pitts and wife Pam. Grandchildren, Brittany Kelley and Dalton Fields and many nieces and nephews, who are also left to mourn his passing. Memorial Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday August 11, 2018 at Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Charleston, with Pastor David McCormick officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to services, also at the church. In Lieu of flowers the family requests Memorial Donations to the Kanawha Charleston Humane Association, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, WV 25311.
