David D Wanamaker December 30 1962 August 10 2018 (age 55)

David D. Wanamaker, 55, of Slatington, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Phillips) Wanamaker; the couple was married on May 28, 1983. Born on December 30, 1962, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Donald K. and Barbara Ann (Biege) Wanamaker. David was a graduate of Allentown Business School and Parkland High school. He was employed in various capacities over the years for several car dealerships, Scott, Kelly, and most recently as Service Director for the Rentschler’s in Slatington. David was an avid gun collector, enjoyed archery, motorcycles and international traveling. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Lora Ann and husband Michael Kane of Bethlehem; Aunt, Gail Urland of Fl. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Faith Alive United Methodist Church, 628 Pine Street, Palmerton, PA 18071 (Church is located in Bowmanstown). Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 to 11 A.M. at the church. Arrangements are under the care of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in David’s name to the church.
