Obituary of Connie Combs Connie Sue Combs, age 52, of Lamar, Passed away after a long illness, Thursday August 16 in Greenfield, with her daughter by her side. Connie was born March 5th, 1966 to Lloyd and Martha (Carter) Sparks in Lamar, MO. She attended School in Lamar, Sheldon and Golden City. She married Steve Williams in 1981. Together they had 2 daughters. Aubrey was born in 1983 and Audrey was born in 1984. Connie was a CNA and a CMA (certified med tech). She worked in several nursing homes in Lamar, Greenfield and Lockwood. She also worked at Casey’s Country Store. Connie liked to joke around and loved to make people smile and laugh. She loved talking with her mother and spent as much time as she could with her grand children. Connie is survived by her mother Martha Carter, her 2 daughters, Aubrey Williams and grand daughter Emma Hada of Nevada and Audrey Hart and husband Matt and grandson Jeremy Knowlton of Sheldon; 2 sisters; Pam Sherman and husband Mike and nephew James of Liberal and Clara Smith and husband Charlie and nephew Matthew of Sheldon. She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Sparks and husband Steve Williams. There will be a memorial service 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Church of God of Prophecy in Liberal, MO.
