Obituary for Clifford Pennington Clifford Harold Pennington, 76, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Tampa, FL. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains and on the boat and he enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, playing cards and dominoes, and being in nature. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Laurie Pennington of Spring Hill, FL; children: Jennifer Cruse (Irvin) of Spring Hill, FL, Kristin Pennington of Tampa, FL, Patrick Pennington of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren: Joshua and Justin; sister: Shirley Karpinski (Stan) of Simpsonville, SC; and brother: Bill Pennington (Judy). He was preceded in death by his granddog, Oscar. Visitation and Service A service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation from 10 to 11 prior to service) at Purcell Chapel, 114 W. Noble Ave., Bushnell, FL.
