Clare E. Walworth age 83 of Topinabee, MI and formerly of Corunna and Owosso, MI passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Pleasant View Medical Care Facility, Corunna, MI. A Memorial Service will be held at Easton Church of Christ, Owosso at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 with Pastor Nate Walworth officiating. Memorial Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 11:00-12:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date at Easton Cemetery. Clare was born in New Haven Township, Michigan on December 13, 1934, the son of Erwin and Thelma (Hickmott) Walworth. He was a 1953 graduate of Chesaning High School. Clare married Barbara Webster on February 25, 1961 in Owosso, MI. He resided most of his life in Corunna and Owosso. There will also be a service held at his home church, up north in the near future. Clare served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a foreman and worked in final assembly for Universal Electric in Owosso and later worked as a tool maker for General Motors. Clare loved to spend his retirement time playing golf. Clare was a member of Northern Michigan Baptist Bible Church of Burt Lake, MI. He is survived by his wife Barbara Walworth of Owosso, MI; daughter: Cathy and Dennis Moore of Casnovia, MI; son: Mark and Krissy Walworth of Owosso, MI; daughter: Diane and Tom Ray of Owosso, MI; 8 grandchildren: Jordan, Emilee, Jessica, Nathan, Clare Elizabeth, Jacob, Nicholas and Riley; 5 great-grandchildren: Ava, Hunter, Harper, Bubba and Laura; brother: Merlin Walworth; sister: Sharon Leonard; sister: Linda and Leonard Cook; brother: Al and Sue Walworth. Clare was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Don Walworth, and sister: Carol Malone. Memorials may be made to McLaren Hospice.
