Christine M. Karschner, 53, of McElhattan, died unexpectly, Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018. Born July 19, 1965, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Donald W. Fields and Felicia A. (Selleck) Fields. Christine was a 1983 graduate of Williamsport High School. She was employed by Sheetz in Mill Hall, and formerly employed at Gaint Foods. Christine enjoyed reading and in the past volunteered at Sunnybrook Meadows. She loved horses, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family. Surviving is her mother, Felicia; Allen Kling, her loving companion of 12 years; two sons, Justin Karschner and wife Alyss, of Williamsport and Michael Karschner, of Arizonia; two sisters, Susan Moore, of Crest Hill, Ill. and Sandra Davenport, of Muncy; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a Nana to her pride and joy, granddaughter, Leah Karschner; and is also survived by stepsons, Matt and Zack Kling. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald. A visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 20, from noon to 1 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Following the visitation, there will be agraveside service at Wildwood Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Old Lycoming Township Vol. Fire Co. following the interment. If desired, contributions can be made in Christine’s name to Sunnybrook Meadows, 426 State Home Road, Montgomery, PA 17752. Arrangements entrusted to Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
