Obituary for Charles Mullins Charles Mullins of Madison departed this life on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He was born September 12, 1935 in Clay County to Lundy and Maude Mullins. He was retired from Hobet Mining and was a member of UMWA local 2286. He was a member of Pinnacle Church of Julian. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Doug; brothers, Buren and Jack; and great-grandson, Jonathon. Charles is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marie; sons, David (Terani) and Robert (Regina); sister, Marie James; grandchildren, Cassie, Matthew (Ashley) and Seth; great-grandchildren, Madyson and Maycee; and two special sisters-in-law, Arlene Turner and Kathi (Ray) Clark. The family would like to thank the staff at Davita Dialysis, the transport crews at BCAA, and the staff at Hillcrest Rehabilitation. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 12 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Chuck Gillispie officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
