Charles Mark Willis, 57, of Dawson, Georgia, formerly from Lakeland, Florida, passed away at home on August 28, 2018. A funeral service will be held at Harvey Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018, with interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Dr. Joe Savage will officiate. A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mark was born in Ft. Myers, Florida on August 27, 1961. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawson, where he was a deacon. He was an accomplished businessman, owning and operating Willis Agricultural Storage in Dawson, Georgia and Mulberry, Florida, as well as multiple other business interests. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and visiting with family and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Charles Elmore Willis. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Scarborough Willis; his mother, Betty Jo Chaoui and step-father, Ben Chaoui; children, Adam Willis, Logan Willis and Clay Willis; grandchildren, Rylee Willis, Addie Willis and Jett Willis; sisters, Suzanne Greenwald (Larry) and Jeanne Sturgis (Larry); brother, John Willis (April) and many nieces and nephews.
