Charles B. Reposky, Sr., affectionately known to his closest friends and family as “Whitey” Reposky, 73, of Allison, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. He was born September 6, 1944 in Brownsville, PA, the son of Michael and Helen (Lizanich) Reposky, who preceded him in death. Charles devoted his time to volunteering with the Allison #1 Volunteer Fire Department and was a devoted parishioner and volunteer at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Brownsville. He will be sadly missed by his wife Irene (Vesnesky) Reposky, Allison, PA; three children, Charles Reposky, Jr., Lancaster, PA, Bernadette Alway and husband Donald, Stafford, VA and Nicholas Reposky, Allison, PA; two grandchildren, Isabella and Donald Alway, Jr.; brothers Michael Reposky and wife Kathleen, Herbert, PA and George Reposky, (Charles’ twin brother) and wife Johanna, Brownsville, PA; sister Margaret Gannon, Painesville, OH; four sister in laws, Rose Neun, Brownsville, PA, Mary Ann Moriarty, Smock, PA, Margaret Rutherford, Burgettstown, PA and Elizabeth Staso, Wooster, OH; brother in law, Andrew Vesnesky and wife Jessie and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA today, Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6-8 P. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Father Christopher Burke.
