  1. To Ann’s family and friends:

I had the pleasure of meeting Ann when I became Pastoral Counselor at Our Lady of the Valley Retirement Community in Roanoke, VA. Over the last two years I have visited with her in her apartment and sometimes at lunch, She was easy to talk to and to be with, and maintained a healthy sense of humor about her circumstances and challenges. “Still waters run deep,” and so I believe it was with Ann. I am glad to know about her long years of service as a nurse, and in other roles too, for she surely touched countless lives in many ways. May God uphold you in your current grief and may He bless to you all of your precious memories of her.
