Obituary for Bonnie L. Peterson Bonnie L. Peterson Lake Pleasant, NY – Bonnie Lynch Peterson, 82, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon, August 19, 2018 surrounded by her dear friend, Roberta, her family and her beloved Airedale, Lyla. Bonnie was born in Detroit, Michigan July 28, 1936 to Rebecca Routin Lynch and Ellison Lynch. Bonnie attended Lansing Community College and Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan and retired from the Carpenter’s District Union #324. Bonnie was a member of the Airedale Terrier Club of America and spent many hours in service of her beloved Airedale breed. Bonnie was a protector of the Airedale breed and spent hours sharing her knowledge with others. She generously shared her time and vast knowledge, guiding many owner-handlers through the art of grooming, training and showing Airedales. Anyone with a Nipmuc puppy became a part of Bonnie’s family and she was always available to assist and answer questions. Bonnie was a lifetime member of the Green Mountain Dog Club and held various positions throughout the years. Many hours were spent coaching adults and children about responsible dog ownership. Bonnie is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Edward Peterson of Barre, Vermont, her brother Richard of South Lyon, Michigan and many nieces and nephews, as well as her extended dog family throughout the country. A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held in the near future for her family and friends.
