Mrs. Betty Jean Jones, 87, of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 3:05 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2018 with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY Mrs. Jones was born July 15, 1931 in Simpson Co, KY to the late Pone Bayles and Viola Violet Bayles. Her brother Louis Bayles preceded her in death. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Judy Gray and her husband Donnie of Owensboro, KY, Brenda Brashear and her husband Gerald of Franklin, KY and Donna Knight of Franklin, KY, a son Tracy Jones and his wife Celeste of Franklin, KY, a sister, Linda Hunt of Louisville, KY, a brother, Gary Bayles of Gallatin, TN, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was retired from Kendall Co. of Franklin, KY, and was a proud member of South Franklin Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until time of service on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
