Obituary for Betty Faye “Granny” Lett Betty Faye “Granny” Lett, 80, of Snead, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at her residence. Betty was born on April 9, 1938 in Marshall County to the late Willie and Gracie Barnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Luther Lett; parents; sister, Joyce Thompson; brother, Ray Barnes. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Patrick) Amos; granddaughters, Ashley (Nick) Byrum and Amanda (Austin) Tomes; great grandson, Ashton Amos. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Valley Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery near Boaz. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 9:30 until funeral time.
