OBITUARY Beatrice CAMPBELL February 22, 1929 – July 28, 2018 Beatrice Campbell was born on February 22, 1929 in Johnsville, Arkansas, she was the third child to Dave and Ethel Campbell. . To many she was known as Bea, or Sister Campbell. At the age of 17 she moved to Denver, Colorado. A year later she met her husband, James Washington. They were blessed with four children, Shirley Ruth, David, Rodney, and Timothy. In 1963 she was introduced to the truth through her sister, Rosetta. On first hearing the truth she didn’t want to listen to the message, she thought Rosetta was crazy for even listening to the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but Rosetta wasn’t going to give up on her. The more Bea heard, the more she grew to love what she was hearing, and soon a bible study was started. During this time she was going though a divorce and felt she had better make some changes in her life. She said she didn’t want her divorce to get her into trouble, so on February 22, 1968 she made her dedication to Jehovah. Bea was a fighter and strong individual. She loved going out in field service, associating with friends and family, fishing, baking pies, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved to travel. Beatrice fell asleep in death on July 28, 2018. She is preceded in death by her children, Shirley Ruth, David, and Timothy; and one grandchild, Bernadette Washington. She leaves behind son, Rodney; granddaughter, LaRonda; 5 great-grandchildren, Toni, Michael, Relena, Monique, and Isziah; sister, Rosetta Henderson; brother, Lindell Campbell (Elsie), and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Beatrice wants everyone to know that she is very thankful for all of the love you showed her, and truly enjoyed all the visits and the good food she received. Thank you.
