Frist Funeral Home Barbara Lee Smith, 85, of St. Bernice, died on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Clinton Gardens. She was born on a farm west of Jonestown on January 25, 1933, to Earl O’Briant and Mabel Rice O’Briant . She worked for Columbia House and St. Bernice Sewing Factory. She married Donald G. Smith on January 5, 1952, in St. Bernice and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Beverly Smith and Annabelle Hines. Survivors include four children, Donna Bugni, Larry J. Smith, Terry (Cheryl) Smith all of St. Bernice, and Gary (Nancy) Smith of Plant City, Florida; four grandchildren, Heather Hogue, Morgan Dayhoff, Michael Smith, and Cody Smith; two step-grandchildren, Springer and Chris Wilson; eight great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 5 from 4 to 8 pm at Frist Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Garrett Lee officiating.
