Angola – Angelia Jean Harpenau, 46 of Angola died Saturday August 4, 2018 Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born November 12, 1971 in LaGrange to Ronald and Sandra Jean (Shumaker) McCormick. Her mother has passed away, her father survives in Angola. Angelia was a 1990 graduate of Angola High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education in 1994 from Purdue University. She was a teacher at Pleasant Lake Elementary School for 23 years. Angelia loved teaching and enjoyed Disney, Gardening and spending time with her family. She married Darrin L Harpenau on August 7, 1993 in Angola and he survives. She is also survived by a son Alexander Lee Harpenau and a daughter Samantha Caroline Harpenau both of Angola; a brother and sister in law, Patrick and Patty McCormick of Angola. Services will be 4 pm Wednesday August 8, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo with burial to follow in MT Zion Cemetery, Golden Lake.
