Andrea Elaine DeWitt, 67, of Somerset, died August 28, 2018 at her home. Born April 14, 1951 in Fairmont WV, she is the daughter of Andrew and Edna Bell (Spicer) Yerkovich Sr. Preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law Donna Yerkovich. Survived by her husband Joseph William DeWitt to whom she was married 45 years, daughters; Christine Younkin and husband Jason of Toano, VA, and Tammy Trimble and husband Bradley of Mechanicsville, VA, grandchildren; Elodie and Ian Trimble, brother; Andrew Yerkovich Sr. and sisters; Theresa Yerkovich and Cindy Liddle and husband Bill all of Morgantown. Andrea was a 1969 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School, and a 1971 graduate of Nursing School; she worked as an LPN for home health and later as a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Rockwood, and loved spending time with family and friends. Friends received 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and one hour prior to the service at the church which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Rockwood, with Reverend Lee Gable officiating.
