OBITUARY Alfred “Al” Guidani September 14, 1924 – August 15, 2018 Alfred “Al” Guidani, 93, of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at his home. He was born September 14, 1924 in Wilsonville, IL to the late Max and Lena (Benedetti) Guidani. He was a 1942 graduate of South Fork High School and married his high school sweetheart, Emma Maras on December 29, 1946 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Kincaid, IL. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific – Solomon Islands. He was a retired quality control supervisor, and of the Catholic faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Lake; and a nephew, Keith Guidani. He is survived by his wife, Emma Guidani; a brother, Dominic Guidani and wife Eva; and two nephews, Mark Lemanski and wife Anita, and Michael Lemanski . Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL at a later date.
