(88) of Johnstown passed away at home with his family by his side July 30, 2018. Born April 14, 1930 in Nettleton, PA son of the late Hayden and Edna (Zeither) Rummel. Preceded in death by his wife Anna Louise (Clevenger) Rummell, brother Logan, sisters Esther, Katherine, Hilda, Bertha and Betty. Survived by his children Christine Coelho, Albert, Jr, Darlene Kelly, Richard (Dottie Dawson), Jay, Eileen Melendez and Darren (Lynn Simpson), 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Diana Rummell. “Big Al” loved fishing, the Pirates and country music. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a former employee of the C & BL Railroad and Bethlehem Steel Corp. Family and friends will be received from 5 – 8 PM Wednesday at Moskal-Reid funeral home where his Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, Committal Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
