Silva, Adeline M. (Parks), 90, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Coventry Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Silva, Sr., and a daughter of the late John and Mary (Silva) Parks. Mrs. Silva was formerly employed as a school lunch aid at the John Wicks School for 35 years and was also a former salesperson. She was the beloved mother of Francine Moore, Elizabeth Amadio, and Frances J. Silva, Jr.; grandmother of James and Jillian Chappel; great-grandmother of Jakob, Leilani, and Sophia Chappel. Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Long Street, at 11 AM. Visitation Monday 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Burial will be in the RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906, will be appreciated.
