Obituary for William Wayne Hood William Wayne Hood, 86, Goshen, died 1:10 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Center for Hospice, Elkhart. He was born March 24, 1932 in Nappanee to Harry Andrew and Dorothy Elnora (Ingle) Hood. On February 10, 1951, William married Lia (Trowbridge) Hood. Surviving is his wife, Lia, Goshen, a son, Phillip (Debra) Hood, Goshen, a daughter, Teresa Ann (Robert) Deveau, Goshen, grandchildren, David Foster, Steven Foster, Phillip Foster, James Foster, Allison (Jeremy) Frye, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Harry (Sandra) Hood, Elkhart, Jack (Donna) Hood, DeLand, FL, and a sister, Betty Morrisette, Elwood. Preceding him in death are his parents, a son, Steven Bradley Hood, and a sister, Dorothy Andrews. William was a 1950 graduate of Nappanee High School and a member of Grace Community Church. He was the Director of Manufacturing for Fairmont Homes since 1970. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 with a service following at 11 a.m. all in The Link at Grace Community Church, 20076 CR 36, Goshen. Pastor Tannan Peters will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Foundation. Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
