Obituary for William “Bill” Virgin Jr. Virgin, William “Bill” E. Jr. of Saginaw Twp. and Freeland, MI Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Cartwright Hospice Residence surrounded by his family. He was 73 years old. William E. Virgin Jr. was born on August 12, 1944 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late William E. and Joyce Marie (Ferrell) Virgin. Bill came to the Saginaw area in his youth and graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1962. He then worked for Saginaw Steering Gear, Plant 6, retiring in 1995 after 30 years of service. Bill was a member of the Sons of American Revolution and lifetime member of the Saginaw Field and Stream and NRA. He was an enthusiast and avid collector of cars and trucks. Bill enjoyed researching family and world history, and he found great joy in being surrounded by his beloved pets, family and his yellow corvette. Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Carol Ann Virgin; son, Sean Virgin; daughter, Nicole Virgin; brother, Duane (Sue) Virgin; sister, Coanne O’Hern; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his aunt and uncle. According to Bill’s wishes cremation has taken place and his family will celebrate his life in Paducah, Kentucky.
