Obituary for Mrs. Wanda Faye Brown Mrs. Wanda Faye Brown, age 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, June 4, 2018, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Joe Billinger will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. She was born July 3, 1951, in Woodbury, Tennessee, to the late Robert Lee and Gracie Hale Bowen. She was a homemaker and maintained membership at Whittaker Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Courtney and Dallas, a sister, Dorothy McClanahan, and her very best friend, Pam Begley. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Timmy) Brown, and Cynthia “Punkin” Thompson, and a son, Gary “Mack” (Regina Williams) Thompson, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Shirley (Buddy) Carter, Pat (Ewell) Caldwell, Teresa “Lynn” Pendergrast, Allen (Patty) Bowen, Howard Bowen, and James L.(Tammy) Bowen; grandchildren, Timmy, Lacey, Brad, Hayley, and Kayla; great grandchildren, Micah, Maddox, Josey, Karson, Autumn, McKenzie, and Nova; her companion and significant other, Richard Vester.
