Obituary for Wade Hoyt A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Assumption Catholic Church in Mire for Wade Patrick Hoyt, 60, who passed away at his home in Lafayette on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Fr. Michael Arnaud, Pastor of Assumption Catholic Church in Mire will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery in Mire. The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services. Survivors include his wife of twenty eight years, Debra M. Hoyt of Lafayette; one daughter, Courtney Hoyt of Lafayette; his mother, Valerie Paige of Mandeville; two sisters, Rhonda and husband, David Harrison of Mandeville, Loraine Hoyt of Mandeville; one brother, Dale and wife, Sheryl Hoyt of Lafayette; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hoyt was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hoyt. And his step father, George Paige.
