Virginia McGillick 2018

Virginia M. (nee Tkacik) McGillick, 88, of Paterson, passed away on June 10, 2018. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. McGillick was raised in Passaic. Upon her marriage to her husband, George, they moved to Paterson where she has resided since. Before her retirement, she was employed with the Owens-Illinois Co. of Totowa. Mrs. McGillick was a parishioner of Most Holy Name of Jesus Slovak National Catholic Cathedral in Passaic. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George in 2004; two loving daughters, Janet McGillick in 1970 and Joyce Ruchalski in 2002; and her sister, Eleanor McGillick in 1986. Survivors include: two devoted granddaughters, Karen and Megan Ruchalski of Clifton; and her son-in-law, James Ruchalski of Clifton. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by the interment at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington, DC 20090-8018.
